Day 3 Build

Today was awesome! The progress we made at the build site was immense - so much that it's now starting to look like a liveable house. We finished painting all the trim, started nailing the siding in, hammered the roof on, and installed all plumbing and electric. The inspectors came at the end of the day, so hopefully everything is on par and we can continue with our fast-paced building tomorrow! We had to catch up from yesterday so we stayed a little later today, but so far we're right on schedule. There was only one minor setback today, and if you followed along with my last build you won't be surprised by this. So it happened again... My shoes broke. The soles came completely off just like they did in El Salvador (these are totally different NEW shoes that I brought with) so I'll have to do some innovating like last time. Hopefully I'll find something better than duct tape this time. Stay tuned...
